Mote designed and built the website for The Archive, Martina Lohoff’s collection of Phoebe Philo era Céline, which Lohoff began collecting in 2013. Céline, the Parisian fashion house founded by Céline Vipiana in 1945, was led by Phoebe Philo as Creative Director from 2008 to 2018. Born in Paris in 1973 and raised in London, Philo graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1996 and went on to work at Chloé from 1997 to 2006, succeeding Stella McCartney as Creative Director in 2001. Appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2014, Philo returned to fashion with the launch of her eponymous line in 2023, which quickly became one of the most covetable fashion brands. Today, her tenure at Céline is widely recognized as one of the most significant periods in modern fashion history.

Consulting on both functional and visual aspects of the platform, we’ve continued to shape thoughtful updates that support brand growth without disruption. The result is a calm, intuitive experience that has contributed to a 136% increase in sessions while allowing KLUR to stay focused on product development.

We designed and developed a site that brings that experience online. The site was built to carry that same assurance, so clients can trust that what they see is exactly what they’ll receive. To honor the history and integrity behind every designer piece, the product experience blends detailed provenance and condition notes with mood-board context drawn from runway and editorial archives. The result is an online environment that mirrors Tab’s ethos: vintage presented with care, context, and the elevated ease of modern luxury.
